Greene County Supervisors to Hold Public Hearing on Easement Access for Solar Panel Company – Raccoon Valley Radio

The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will hear an update from the Jefferson City Administration before a 9am public hearing on the easements for Red Lion Renewables to install and maintain solar panels on county property, followed by consideration of approving those measures after the hearing.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval the final plans for the Schoolboy Soldiers of Rippey monument, two resolutions to transfer funds from tax increment financing (TIF) to the debt service fund for payments for the Greene County Career Academy and the first phase of the county road repaving projects. 
They will also consider approving a resolution to hire a part-time driver for the Ambulance Department, a renewal of an alcohol license for a company with The Era Wedding Venue and a three year contract with Cost Advisory Services. They will also act as the Drainage District Board of Trustees to consider approving several claims for work done in drainage districts, as well as an invoice for the Iowa Department of Agricu11lture and Land Stewardship for two wetland projects.
