RAYZON Solar, a solar photovoltaic module manufacturer, has announced the publication of its first internationally verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its high-efficiency solar PV modules.
As global markets increasingly prioritise sustainability, product-level environmental transparency is becoming an essential consideration alongside efficiency, reliability and cost. By publishing its EPD, RAYZON is equipping its all stakeholders, like developers, EPC contractors, utilities, institutional buyers and infrastructure investors with robust environmental data to support procurement decisions, project due diligence and long-term investment assessments.
This milestone marks an important step in the company's sustainability journey and reinforces its commitment to helping customers and investors make more informed decisions. The EPD offers independently verified data on the environmental impacts of RAYZON Solar's modules across their life cycle and is now publicly available to customers, financial institutions and other stakeholders worldwide.
In international markets, including Europe, where product-level environmental disclosures are increasingly requested to meet sustainability objectives and evolving regulatory expectations, the EPD serves as a practical decision-making tool. It supports customers in strengthening green procurement initiatives, advancing their decarbonisation goals and enhancing sustainability reporting, while also helping investors and financial institutions conduct ESG assessments, sustainable finance evaluations and long-term investment analyses with greater confidence.
This EPD is based on a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study carried out in accordance with international standards – ISO 14025, EN15804, ISO 14040, ISO 14044 and Annexure C:2021. The EPD is prepared using the latest applicable Product Category Rules (PCRs) and internationally recognised life cycle assessment methodologies. RAYZON’s EPD reports an ultra-low Product Carbon Footprint of 0.483 kg CO₂ equivalent per watt-peak (Wp).
Amit Barve, CEO of RAYZON Solar, said, "The publication of our first Environmental Product Declaration is a significant milestone for RAYZON and an important reflection of our commitment to transparency and responsible manufacturing.”
Krunal Rana, ESG lead at RAYZON, stated, "Environmental Product Declarations are becoming an increasingly important tool for customers and investors seeking credible, product-level environmental information."
