Electrica, a Romania-based electricity company, has signed an EPC contract for the Satu Mare 3 photovoltaic project through New Trend Energy S.R.L. The project has an installed capacity of about 62.5 MW. The project is situated close to the Doba commune of Satu Mare county, Romania. The contract is valued at around €27.9 million (~ $(~ $31.7 million), not including VAT. It consists of the solar park, the 110kV transformer station, and 3 years of O&M services. The project has now entered the construction stage. Funding will mainly come from Electrica’s 2025 green bond issuance.
