Town of Newburgh installs solar panels in popular spots – WFIE | 14 News

NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) – The Town of Newburgh is investing in renewable energy with some new solar panel systems now powering three facilities.
The project includes 63 high-efficiency solar panel installations at Town Hall, the Newburgh Senior Center, and Lou Dennis Community Park where they’re already in use.
Officials say the new panels…are expected to generate over 128,000 “kilowatt-hours” of clean, renewable energy right on-site.
Officials say the new panels will help power and offset the “energy demands” of some of Newburgh’s most popular spots.
