Solar technology company Becquer has introduced its Heterojunction (HJT) solar module technology in India, engineered with heat tolerance and water drainage for applications across data centres, factories and residential buildings. According to the company, the technology uses solar cells with a core efficiency of 26.3%, alongside different module packing designs. Becquer has also commissioned what it described as India’s first and largest industrial solar façade for a home textile manufacturer, integrating modules with the facility’s existing pillar structure without visible cabling. Its manufacturing process enables solar cells to be integrated with building materials, including cladding for data centres designed to reduce building-material costs and operating temperatures. The company has also demonstrated residential solar roofs in Maharashtra, where users relied on rooftop generation for daily electricity needs while paying only a basic grid connection charge. Becquer is also preparing new HJT technology and solar tile factories in the EU and US.
