Separately, Solex Energy secured a work order valued at Rs. 131.6 mn, including applicable taxes, for the supply of TOPCon bifacial glass-to-glass solar photovoltaic modules. The company did not disclose the names of the entities that placed the two orders or the delivery schedule.
The orders strengthen Solex Energy’s presence in India’s solar module market as demand grows for higher-efficiency photovoltaic technologies. TOPCon, or tunnel oxide passivated contact technology, is used in advanced solar cells and is designed to improve conversion performance compared with conventional module technologies.
Solex Energy manufactures its solar modules at facilities on the outskirts of Surat in Gujarat. The company said its modules are certified to global quality and performance standards and are included in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
The Approved List of Models and Manufacturers is used by the ministry to identify solar modules and manufacturers eligible for specified government-supported projects and programmes. The company’s inclusion on the list enables it to participate in segments of the domestic renewable energy market where approved equipment is required. The financial value of the two work orders represents a significant addition to the company’s order pipeline, although the announcement did not provide details of their expected contribution to revenue or profit.

The Madhya Pradesh government plans to establish an airport every 150 km, an airstrip every 75 km and a helipad every 45 km, according to the state aviation department. Airports being developed in Ujjain and Shivpuri are expected to take the state’s airport count to 10. The government stated that Madhya Pradesh currently has eight airports in eight cities. West Bengal will develop four new airports under an agreement signed between the Union Civil Aviation Ministry and the state government, with all facilities targeted for completion by 2028. Mumbai airport has stopped accepting cargo booked on Russian flag carrier Aeroflot, disrupting shipments and prompting the airline’s cargo sales agent, Delmos Aviation, to seek intervention from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
