Tamil Nadu is applying its wind experience to solar by recreating a similar framework of price escalation. This would push prices below Rs. 7 and create a new benchmark but will probably repeat the wind ordeal in coming years, once the peak demand is met, in which developers haven’t been paid their dues for over a year.
