VERONA, Wis. (WKOW) — The City of Verona announced it is installing rooftop solar panels on the City Center and Fire Department buildings.
City officials say the panels will help power the facilities with clean, renewable energy while reducing operating costs and lowering carbon emissions.
By choosing solar, the city says it is taking a step toward a more sustainable future while continuing to provide benefits to the community.
