SolisStorage EverCore 100 to 261kWh Series simplifies commercial and industrial energy storage in Africa – Green Building Africa


As commercial and industrial energy users across Africa accelerate investment in on site generation and storage, system integration has become a defining factor in operational efficiency and project bankability. Responding to these challenges, Ginlong (Solis) Technologies has introduced the SolisStorage EverCore 100 to 261kWh Series Commercial Outdoor Battery Cabinet, an integrated energy storage solution designed to unify photovoltaic generation, power conversion, static transfer switching and energy management within one intelligent platform.
The system integrates PV, PCS, STS and EMS into a single coordinated architecture, enabling streamlined deployment, unified monitoring and more informed energy management decisions. Available in 100kWh, 120kWh and 261kWh configurations, the EverCore series supports grid connected, hybrid grid connected and off grid applications. The modular cabinet design enables flexible capacity expansion, allowing developers to scale systems in line with evolving load profiles or phased project rollouts. A single system can support expansion from one to six battery units, reaching a maximum capacity of 1,566kWh.
The EverCore 100kWh model delivers a rated energy capacity of 100.5kWh with a usable capacity of 99.3kWh and a maximum cycle rate of 0.5P. Built on lithium iron phosphate 3.2V 314Ah cells configured in a 1P100S arrangement, the system offers a rated voltage of 320V and an operating range between 290V and 360V. With a cycle life of up to 8,000 cycles, the platform is engineered for long term commercial duty.
Durability and environmental resilience are central to the design. The cabinet carries an IP55 ingress protection rating, with an optional C5 anti corrosion rating suited to coastal and high humidity environments. A dual cooling system combining forced air and air conditioning ensures thermal stability, while an optimised airflow design at both pack and cabinet level reduces temperature differentials to five degrees Celsius or less. Pack level airflow is enhanced using the Coandă effect, improving thermal management efficiency by up to 30 percent.
Safety is addressed through a 15 level protection architecture spanning cell, pack and system layers, supported by integrated detection and warning systems. Explosion resistant construction further enhances reliability in demanding operating environments. The platform also incorporates calibration free state of charge management and combustible gas detection, reducing maintenance requirements and supporting long term operational stability.
