Grid parity and how will it impact the projects on pipeline, Implementation of JNNSM Phase I & Experience So far

Click the link ‘Natural Group_Presentation at Solar Business in India 2013 on Grid parity and how will it impact the projects on pipeline, Implementation of JNNSM Phase I with Experience So far‘  for my presentation at Solar Business in India, Hotel Crowne Plaza Today, Okhla.

The perspective raised is that we are currently at grid parity in terms of LCOE today especially in the high end commercial and residential segment. Solar is an imperative for the nation to reduce its dependency on foreign oil and restrict the depreciation of the rupee further especially since we are an import dependant nation.

Most of the delivery and points were verbal while the presentation was more of support in context. But with TNERC, SECI declaring grid tariffs in the sub Rs. 6 range, grid parity is upon us.

Its now up to us to make it a commercial reality without depending on government subsidies anymore.
