คาดปี 2565-2601 ไทยเผชิญ ‘ขยะโซลาร์เซลล์’ สะสมเกือบแปดแสนตัน
ความจริงด้านหนึ่งแม้ ‘โซลาร์เซลล์’ จะให้ ‘พลังงานสะอาด’ แต่ความจริงอีกด้านที่ไม่ค่อยพูดถึงก็คือ ‘สารพิษ’ มีเพียบตั้งแต่กระบวนการผลิตจนถึงรีไซเคิล คาดโซลาร์เซลล์ที่เริ่มติดตั้งในไทยตั้งแต่ปี 2545 จะทยอยหมดอายุการใช้งานเป็นขยะถึง 6.2-7.9 แสนตัน ระหว่างปี 2565-2601 ภายในปี 2588 เกิดขยะตะกั่ว 134.2-198 ตัน ขยะแคดเมียม 0.65-0.95 ตัน หากไม่มีการจัดการที่ถูกต้องจะก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายทั้งต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและสุขภาพของคนไทยเป็นมูลค่ามหาศาล ที่มาภาพประกอบ: electricalconnection.com.au ยุคบูมของ ‘พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์’ ‘พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์’ (Solar Energy) นับว่าเป็นพลังงานทางเลือกหรือพลังงานสะอาดที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อมมากที่สุดอย่างหนึ่ง กลุ่มประเทศพัฒนาแล้วต่างนิยมใช้ไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์กันอย่างแพร่หลายทั้งในภาคธุรกิจและภาคครัวเรือนเพราะมีความต้องการลดภาระการนำเข้าพลังงานหลักและตระหนักถึงการลดภาวะโลกร้อนมากขึ้น ทำให้มีความต้องการใช้แผงโซลาร์เซลล์ (Solar Cells Modules) เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ส่วนในประเทศไทยกระแสการใช้พลังงานทดแทนเพื่อการผลิตไฟฟ้าเป็นที่พูดถึงในวงกว้างอีกครั้ง อันเนื่องมาจากความตระหนักรู้และตื่นตัวในเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมของคนไทย ส่งผลถึงการต่อต้านโรงไฟฟ้าถ่านหินเกือบทุกจุดทั่วประเทศ และไม่ต้องพูดถึงพลังงานนิวเคลียร์ที่ดูเหมือนจะเป็นไปไม่ได้ในประเทศไทยแล้ว โซลาร์เซลล์มีอายุการใช้งานที่คุ้มค่าอยู่ระหว่าง … Continue reading
